Smith College is a small, all-women’s liberal arts college located in Northampton, Massachusetts. Smith hosts women from around the world, and is historically one of the Seven Sisters. The only women’s college granting its own undergraduate degrees in engineering, Smith also has its own Junior Year Abroad programs in Paris, Hamburg, Florence, and Geneva. We love the house system, where girls live in period-style houses all four years, adding to the strong sense of community. Sports games are always lively, as we cheer on our Pioneers. (Fun Fact: Smith mascot used to be the Virgins until the 70s). Tradition runs strong at our school, and we have an amazing alumnae network who come back every year for two alum weekends.
